Wind Power

Wind power is another form of renewable energy.
Wind power is the extraction of energy by wind turbines.
An estimated 1 to 3 percent of the energy from the Sun is converted into wind energy. This is about 50 to 100 times more energy than is converted into biomass by all the plants on earth through photosynthesis.

Wind power is a renewable resource, which means using it will not deplete the earth's supply of fossil fuels. It also is a clean energy source, and produces no carbon dioxide sulfur dioxide, particulates, or any other type of air pollution, as do conventional fossil fuel power sources.
